An Excellent Bordeaux Supérieur in an outstanding Vintage |

Located on the gravels and sands of St Denis de Pile, just North of
Lalande de Pomerol, the winemaker Laurent Dubost has nurtured this
particular vineyard which he inherited from his father, after having
started his own production in Pomerol. The wine is extremely well
balanced, the tannic structure is well integrated and has mellowed with
the years of this fine vintage. |

Aged in Oak Barrels for eighteen months. |

Tasting Notes:
The wine opens on a black cherry aroma, with red plums and licorice
undertone;
it has a distinctive but discreet woody and musty flavor. The bouquet is
perfumed and the wine has a good finish.
We would say that it confirms that the 1998 vintage has been absolutely
superb on the Right Bank of Bordeaux! ! |
