Pauillac Controllée |

|
The Vineyard is one of the most ancients
of this privileged land, enclosed in the most famous lots of the
greatest growths of the appellation. As indicated by the name, the soil
is made of gravels from the Garonne river, which give a good drainage to
the vines and gives them the warmth accumulated during the day. The
technical care brought to the vineyard, together with an exceptional
terroir, guarantee an optimal maturity. |

History
Château Bellegrave is located South of the commune of Pauillac, between
chateaus Latour, Pichon-Longueville, and Lynch-Bages. Ancient property
of Armand Roux, the domain was purchased in 1901, by H. Van-Der-Voort,
negociant in San-Francisco. In 1997, J.P Meffre, producer in
Saint-Julien-Beychevelle, became the new owner of the property. Today,
the grand-sons Ludovic and Julien are managing this classic estate. |
